Miller Engineering is a pioneering firm in the design and construction of large-scale, onsite water supply and treatment systems to provide golf courses with pure irrigation water. Since 1995, Miller Engineering has been engineering design, permitting and construction for all aspects of golf course irrigation water supply. These custom systems typically integrate onsite water well supply, desalination and purification of the water supply, post-treatment to adjust water quality to that best suited for the golf course, onsite water storage and pumping. Buildings are also custom designed to best house the systems. The systems are fully automatic and operator training is provided to enable golf course superintendents to easily operate the system.
Miller Engineering carefully analyzes each golf course water supply situation in developing the best design and most cost-effective system for the golf course. We work closely with the golf course superintendent and committees throughout the project.
Our systems are designed for long-term life and all of our systems are still in operation. Some systems have been in operation continually for over 15 years.

Designed, permitted and constructed system to provide 600,000 gallons per day of golf course irrigation water for oceanfront course. Water from 1,200 feet deep brackish well was desalinated by Reverse Osmosis treatment system to provide fresh water for the course. Water also used for make-up water for air conditioning towers. Water costs $0.20 per 1,000 gallons to produce vs. $3.25 using metered water.
One of the most famous old clubs on Palm Beach. Designed reverse osmosis desalination system with process building (had to be approved by Town Architectural Review Board) and wells to produce 600,000 gallons per day of fresh water. System has been operating great for over 15 years.
